Wild and Mike Safari

Dawn over the Serengeti plains, acacia silhouettes
A lioness beside the safari vehicle in Ngorongoro
An elephant beneath a giant baobab in Tarangire
A safari 4x4 among wildebeest and zebra on the plains

The luxury of waking where the wild begins, with the Serengeti stretching to every horizon. An owner-led safari across Tanzania, where the people who plan it are the people who drive it. In the heart of Tanzania, an exclusive territory unfolds beneath the baobabs, offering open views and absolute freedom. A direct and discreet service connects the airport with the bush, taking care of every detail from runway to camp.

Wild & Mike Safari

Private safaris across Tanzania, from the Serengeti to the summit of Kilimanjaro

A safari built around your month

We plan private safaris across Tanzania, from the Serengeti to the summit of Kilimanjaro and the beaches of Zanzibar. Every route is a starting point, and every quote is itemised line by line: park fees, accommodation, vehicle and meals.

Three things decide the shape of a Tanzanian safari: how many days you have, which month you are travelling in, and whether you want a lodge or canvas. Days matter most. Anything under four is a taste; five to seven is where the northern circuit finally relaxes; beyond nine you can add the coast or the remote south without rushing.

Your own 4×4 with a pop-up roof and an English-speaking driver-guide, running on your dates. Ask on WhatsApp and you reach the people who plan the trip.

How we plan

A safari built
around your month

Days, month & canvas

Three things decide the shape of a Tanzanian safari: how many days you have, which month you travel, and whether you want a lodge or canvas. Tell us those three and we send an itemised draft of the route, written for your dates.

  1. 01
    Tell us your month first

The migration is in a different part of the Serengeti in February than in August. We place your nights where the animals are on your dates.

    When to go
  2. 02
Pick a route, then change it

Every route is a draft. Add a night in the Serengeti, cut a day from the crater, finish on the coast. Most trips we run started as one of these and then moved.

    All safaris
  3. 03
    Private, on your dates

Your own 4×4 with a pop-up roof and an English-speaking driver-guide. Rather share a vehicle to bring the cost down? Ask about joining safaris.
