01 · The team
Your guide makes or breaks a safari more than any camp, vehicle or itinerary decision you will make.
A good guide is not simply someone who can find animals. It is someone who knows when to stay and when to move, who can read what a herd is about to do, who notices the small things you would drive past, and who can tell when you have had enough for one morning.
Names, photographs, languages spoken and years of experience for each guide are To confirm and will be published here individually — not as a generic group photograph.

03 · How we work with guides
What we commit to
Employment, not per-trip hire
Guides are on the payroll. It is the difference between someone invested in your week and someone between jobs.
One guide for your whole trip
On a private safari the intention is the same guide throughout, so that by day three they know what you actually care about.
Continuing training
Guiding qualifications in Tanzania are formal and examined. Which certifications our team holds is To confirm.
Fair pay, and a word about tipping
Tips are customary and genuinely appreciated, and they are not a substitute for a wage. We pay a wage.
